The former Johnny Rotten has told Stereogum he is ready to write for the Sex Pistols again: “I’ve really been in a songwriting mode and I can now look back on the Pistols and imagine writing with them. I wouldn’t have been able to think about that if I hadn’t got the P.I.L. thing going again. You forget the wars and personal hate over time. You have to be a real bastard to make me change my views on you. And even bastards like me can be forgiven at times.”
All well, good and meaningless, but, here is my questions to him. Will Glen Matlock be writing the music, because, if so, that is a consumation devoutly to be wished for.
