But when they played, they played like true pros, many of their songs from their album, ‘I’m having fun now’, songs like ‘New-Yorker Cartoon’, ‘Just like Zeus’, ‘Committed’ among others, alternating on lead vocals, harmonizing at two voices, ‘Big Waves’ being probably the one who definitively made me think the most to a Rilo Kiley song.
They ended up with a rocking and extremely bluesy rendition, of ‘The next messiah’ from Jenny Lewis’ ‘Acid tongue’, so bluesy it was almost mean at times, Johnny must have been still pissed off.
