Wow, has it been six years since Johnny Cash died? Depressing shit, right? And, as I like to add at moments like this, Donald Trump is still alive. Go figure.
Cash died in 2003 and in 2006 they released what was to be his final American Recordings.
Now comes word that the powers that be have gone back and found more recordings from the same sessions (well, duh) and are releasing ARVII in time for what would have been the Man in Black’s 78th birthday in February. Included is Sheryl Crow’s “Redemption Song” and Kris Kristofferson’s “For The Good Times”.
