As the year ticks away…. John Lennon wouldda been 70 years old October 9th, has been dead 30 years December 8th, the world is pausing from the usual horror to remember a different horror and to celebrate a life well lived.
At New York City’s Beacon Theatre, a coupla blocks West of the Dakota, they will hold (According to AP) “an all-star benefit/tribute concert Nov. 12, The concert will feature performances by Jackson Browne, Patti Smith, Cyndi Lauper, Aimee Mann and Shelby Lynne.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Playing for Change Foundation, which promotes peace through music, according to The Associated Press. Ticket prices have not been announced.”
Translation? Too rch for my blood. Still I wonder who will cover what. Some suggestions:
