I saw Teddy Reilly with Blackstreet in 1997 between Dru Hill and the New Edition (the reunion tour with Bobby Brown) at MSG and I was impressed indeed but hardly surprised.
And when four years later Reilly produced Michael Jackson’s Invincible and did a damn good job on MJ’s oddly underated last hurrah (the complaint was the album followed didn’t lead: go figure) I wasn’t reallu shocked either.
BUT
Teddy Reilly producing former leader of Korean boy band 2pm – Jay Park, now I’m a looking “uhhh???”.
That’s what the jump creator, great sound man Reilly is doing next. And Snoop Dogg is helping out as well.
The mind boggles and the ear anticipitates. I hope Reilly keeps some Asian flava in the mix…
