Sitting on my buddy’s couch, jaw dropped to the floor with a grin stretching ear to ear, I could hardly comprehend the spectacle coming from the iPad in front of me.
What I was witnessing was nothing short of mind-boggling, unadulterated musical talent. Dub Fx is his name, and he has the uncanny ability to make beautiful, intricate music with nothing but his voice, live looping, and effects pedals.
Dub FX primarily incorporates elements of beat box, hip-hop, drum n’ bass, reggae, and jazz into his unique blend of a one-man band. Ever since I saw that first video, I’ve been captivated by his live street performances, his uplifting lyrics, and the way he carries himself as a true artist.
