In what may or may not be the seeds of yet another rock and roll reunion, The Jam’s Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton have joined together, with Bruce playing bass on two tracks for the upcoming Weller solo album, “Wake Up The Nation”. This was confirmed by Weller himself, during a phone interview with the New Musical Express magazine.
“It came about because we had both lost loved ones last year,” Weller explained. “He lost his wife at the early part of the year, and I lost my dad, and it opened up a bit of a dialogue, and it seemed like a nice thing to do at the time. In fact it was a wonderful thing.”
