ITunes After Steve Jobs

I am not a big fan but i am a big admirer  of Steve Jobs. I never forgave him for upping the rate from a buck to a buck thirty.

My nephews best friend sole job is to work on technology for improving battery life on Iphones -this is an MIT graduate -he is o smart he could buy me and sell me in his sleep.

I don't know how you can overestimate Apple.

But like the Roman Empire and like Microsoft, they are stumbling.

Here is their problem: they need to give up some of their Itunes business in business to get the majors to give them streaming rights.

ICloud is important for video, but for music? streaming will do. But the majors (I am sick of explaining that the majors means just about everybody but I will one more time: all the indies have distribution deals with the indies) Irrevant.

Apple needs to make the deal they need to do,. I don't care one way or the other… Jobs might have looked at my Itines account and ;wondered how he lost 97% of my business in a month.
