i’ll admit i appreciate Jarrett Dougherty taking the time to comment yesterday if you admit it doent matter in the slightest because Screaming Females were one of my fave bands a month ago.
So how do i love thee let me count the ways…
1. Best lead vocalist -who is this fucking woman? She’s awesome; she sounds like god with Laryngitis
2. Screaming Females are to robert fripp what nirvana are to jimmy page.
3. My fave band in the world is Spider Bags and like Spider bags they play people’s home… how can’t you love a band that’d play your sweet sixteen…
4. Jarret isn’t just a nice guy, he can also thump drums till your ears bleed..
5 Power Move isn’t just one of the best albums of the OOs, it’s one of the best albums of the teens as well.
6. “Skull” makes my ears ache with pleasure.
7. I love the double time on “lights Out”.
8. 1600 critics and Screaming females made it to #108 on the VV best of 2009… I had em in my top ten but at least I can not hate VV about something.
9. I bet they blew Arctic Monkey’s off stage at terminal Ugh.
10. And Power Move is better than Humbug and Ignore the Ignorant combined…
