Statelman are a reakl good alt rock pop band with hooks aplenty. In a line that is flirting around the Paramore/Hey Monday axis of chick singer, a hooklined verse, plus hooky but tough backed guitar verse and Megan Diguilo’s wroughful vocals push the potential filled on “Back Against The Wall”
The New Jersey based 5 member band have survived several line shake up and are reachieing the next step in their evolution: the recording. On Statelman’s myspace there are two songs, the above mentioned and “Hit The Road Quick” based upon an excellent fuzzed out guitar and a series of cascading guitar riffs -the power of two guitars. You can hear em battle it out for supremacy.
