If ever there was the perfect addition to SNL it would be Timberlake. This is the guy who gave us 'Dick In The Box', 'Homelessville' and more- a singer with a fabulous sense of humor who takes the limping cast to a whole new level.
At 32 years old he has become legendary- is that possible? Of course it is! Considering this kid was in the Mickey Mouse Club with Brittany Spears. Anyone remember when they were an item? But Justin went on to be a part of mega group N'Sync. One of the most infamous boy bands of all time. Out of all the 'sync'rs', Justin was the mega star. Acting, philanthropy, gossip, and music he does it all.
How fabulous it was to see the old timers, like Dan Ackroyd, Chevy Chase and Martin Short- and what the hell with the Two Wild and Crazy Guys? Couldn't ask for better skits (well ya could but really it was so much better than usual!) but nostalgia always works with me.
This edition of SNL is guaranteed to crack me up but will his musical performance impress or am I only in it for the parody?
Singing "Suit and Tie", his self introduction was so adorable that nothing mattered. Lets face it this guy is a massive superstar with charisma to spare. His silly falsetto and cheesy dancers cannot take away from the fact that this is a show man in the most classic sense of the word. Hes fun to watch and although musically he ain't my cuppa, I found the performance to be just plain perfect. Bring in a few lines from my boy Jay Z and well……..we got mega star power on this weeks show.
Iman adds, "He moves well. His falsetto is still pretty damn good. But the song makes Robin Thicke look smart and after all these years I expect more and Hova doesn't help."
