Finally! Jack White.. Jack..freakin White, is on SNL. I have a love hate with the guy. He can be so fabulous and so disappointing. I want to be his biggest fan but right when I think that's about to happen..he pulls out some crappy hick twang and I shun him.
This whole Nashville thing has gained him weirdo status, next he will be collecting bones or something. Jack being on SNL was a glimmer of hope in my week. No Bon Iver, no Jessie J, no Foster The People .. finally something I could love!
Hostess Lindsey Lohan (a veteran at the show) is supposedly all cleaned up and ready to poke fun at herself- that can be redundant but for now, I'm just glad we have some music worth the late hour.
Looking more healthy than most pictures lately and still like a lump of dirty laundry. His ego well supported with an all female back up band, Jack shows me that he really is fabulous "I Want Love" has gotten some airplay on local radio and maybe this is going to get him some proper critical acclaim>
I love this song after an initial hate of it, and this was very well executed. Soft and clear and heartfelt. Jack is perfect solo.
Imans thoughts? He looks like the scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz and the all chick band is weird. But this is a very good song, his best in years. Too bad it's unwatchable.
Ahhh thank goodness Iman and I are once again polar opposites. This was worth the torment of bad sketch comedy for.
