The Hop Farm Family Park, near East Peckham in Kent, England, is known for its outdoor music festival and today and tomorrow, Van Morrison and Bob Dylan are the headliners.
The festival was founded in 2008 with Neil Young as the first headliner on the idea there would be no VIP area, no sponsorship or no display of any brand on the festival sit.
Among the other performers, I would be interested to see Blondie (I saw her two years ago and at 63 she put on an awesome rock show), Ray Davies of course (no justification necessary), the east LA Tex-Mex band Los Lobos because there is a reason they are still around, and ex-Nathalie Portman boyfriend Devendra Banhart for his weirdness and because you all want to feel just like a child sometimes.
But there are many other acts, and for full line-up details go there:
But an outdoor festival in England? I would say rain and mud!
