They did it as a reggae cover, and considering I've never heard the original, I can't compare it. But it is so beautiful. It's incredible how perfectly his voice fits, and you can tell that he loses himself when he's singing it. I haven't ever heard a voice like his, nor a voice that is one thousand percent perfect- not even Patrick Stump or Brendon Urie. I used to say that their voices were flawless, but now they pale in comparison.
It is completely flawless. It's a very chill, laid back, carefree tune, that I am so putting on my playlists. The instruments aren't overpowering and the way the song's composed makes it perfect for a fun summer day. I've replayed it nearly six times now. I'll never listen to the original because I don't want to ruin how much I adore this cover.
I've never heard any cover of a rap song, nor a reggae song, nor any other tune that could be a better summer song.
