Hole Lotta Nothing

Former Hole bassist  Melissa Auf Der Maur is pissed at Courtney Love’s using the Hole name to tour with a band reflecting none of the original musicians except Love. Saud Melissa: “I want to make it clear that I have nothing to do with this series of concerts. Honestly, I’m a little surprised by this turn of events. I am disappointed that they are going to jeopardise a real Hole reunion, which I think would be great for fans and fun for us, the band. Courtney) really is jeopardising the Hole reunion, which is not impossible, but it will be if this continues.”

Melissa has a point. Here is the whole Hole story: everything else but this was crap.

Pretty On The Inside – A wicked punk rock howl of an album.
Live Through This – Courtney channels her inner Cobain for this classic album.
Hole Plugged And Unplugged – A boot but a brilliant boot with the MTV best a plugged  performance and lost classics like “Best Sunday Dress” and “Sugar Coma” and a “Drown Soda” that cuts Cobains. I was at the Unplugged taping…  try and get it. It was the bands finest moments less than a year removed from Cobain’s suicide.

Melissa played on every song.

Hole is not Hole without the original line up.
