Henry Rollins.
Now there is a man who’s gotten alot of mention here lately. My association with him holds no candle to his association with Charlie. Back in the SST Records day, when Henry had hair (and was not quite as bulked) there was some collaborative efforts between this want to be rock star and this punk rocker with a path.
Rollins produced tons of acoustic material for Manson and the two built an interesting friendship.
Although the music has never been released there are apparently 5 prints of what I presume to be hillbilly crap, 2 of these in Rollins possession the rest held by SST. I guess Mansons lawyers want them back.
For what I have no idea.
I guess it would have made a great holiday gift.
I remember the Rollins Manson connection really well.
It was all the buzz in the scene and made Henry seem so bad ass. Of course, death threats prevented the lp from ever hitting the public, but maybe it was just cuz it sucked?
