I don't claim to know much about the mpvie business but I know this, if I planned to make a movie about, say, Donovon, one of the very first things I'd do, long before casting, actually, probably before raising money, I would make absolutely certain that I had a contract signed by Donovon to use his songs in the movie. Because, kinda obviously, if I didn't and Donovon said no, .I wouldn't have much of a movie on my hands.
