2. Dust To Dust – The Civil Wars – I sincerely regret coming to this band late and thereby apparently losing my opportunity to catch em in person – A-

3. Different Sides – Leonard Cohen – Surprisingly effective sex song about aging – A

4. Almost grown – Chuck Berry – The first thing everybody should learn about freedom – A+

5. We Have No Secrets – Carly Simon – Better than “You’re So vain” and closer to the bone, it cuts sharp and straight down – A

6. The Wire – Haim – They finally get one right, a hard rocking but So-Cal-y rocking mix and march – B+

7. Single Again – Gary Stewart – King of the honky tonks the late great is new to me but won’t be for long – A

8. Honey – Swim Deep – Birmingham sound 2013 is smart and melodic, it might even crossover – B+

9. More Than Anything  featuring Emili Sande – Rudimental  – I admire this band more every day, another killer trck – A-

10. Guess Things Happen That Way – Jack Clement – Late great country singer gave Johnny cash one of his biggest hits. This version less so – A
