1. New Madrid – Wilco – Does this constitute a cover, I mean Jeff wrote it. Anyway, much better than the attempt at Thin Lizzy – B+

2. Higher – Deborah Cox – Not bad heavy disco… she manages the anonymous/not anonymous axis as well as any one – B

3. Earthquake Weather – Matt Nathanson – This is not very good, bland s/s – C

4. Shit Tattoos – Big D And The Kid’s Table – The sort of ska bouncer Helen Bach would like… zero pretension and a sense of human – B+

5. I Love It – Icona Pop – This could be a song of the summer. It has been around so long I had my doubts but maybe it is still going great – A

6.  Should’ve Said No – Taylor Swift – Performed for a heartbreak kid last Saturday, a goodie off her first album – B+

7. Early Mornin’ Rain – Bob Dylan – When it comes to Self Portrait, if you don’t like this maybe don’t bother – B+

8. Brand New Wayo – Robert Randolph – Carlos Santana is on fire on this song – B+

9. There’s No Turning Back – Sick Puppies – A full blown rock and roll ballad, the rest of the album isn’t as good – B

10. Get Lucky – Wilco – They get all of the guitar hook, they understood it exactly. The singing sucks – B+
