1. Anything Could Happen – Ellie Goulding – This is a big song for Ellie, completely addictive with those “wee wee wees” playing in the back of your head long after its over and a chorus of Ellie’s bringing it back home. Huge in the UK – A

2. Where I Sleep – Emeli Sande – She is kinda obsessed about sleeping next to her guy, isn’t she? Sure seems to work though, a lovely sentiment – A

3. Latch – Disclosure – The way you feel about Disclosure can be decided on your reaction to this mid-temp dancer. I find it draggy, and the vocal is over pronounced – B

4. Suffer Little Children – The Smiths – This is an important song in the Smiths history but it could be heftier, Moz should rerecord it – A

5. All The Way – R. Kelly – Kelly Rowland had an OK year, R. Kelly less spo and this is a drag – B-

6. Face To Face – Shellshag – Has true love and fidelity ever felt stronger or tasted sweeter, the guitars go fuzzy as Shell goes back to the beginning of his relationship with Shag – A

7. Fool In The Rain – Led Zeppelin – Man this lick is awesome, from one of my fave Zep albums – A

8. 1+1 – Beyonce – As good as anything on her new album, which only tells you how great her new album is – A

9. Super 8 – Jason Isbell – I agree with the complaint that it lacks punch, except not on stage. On stage it has punch – A-

10. I’d Run Away – Natalie Maines – Hidden away on the album, emerges as a lynchpin not a deep track. Indie country rock! – A
