Why do I hate Dave Grohl so much. I loved him with Nirvana, where did our love go? I had the misfortune of watching him open for every other band in the world (including the Stones) when Foo Fighters first formed. And I thought Foo Fighters, with their extended jam,s and iffy vocals, were terrible live. I remember seeing them at Forest Hills Tennis Club once, and I was waiting for Hole AND THEY CHASED ME OUT OF THE FUCKING PLACE BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T STOP PLAYING. An hour and a half in a festival.
Plus, none of their albums are all that.
Also, there is something so needy about Grohl. He keeps bending over backwards to prove he's a regular guy when he isn't. And all his albums are nothing much. Including, Wasting Light, which I am listening to now because I just read his statement after he got shellacked for making some dumbass real music by real people comment and I agreed so much, I figured I'd give it another chance.
Dave if just the worse but he has a point… maybe he should keep to apologies! Of course Alyson, completely disagrees with my take. Read her opinion and tGrol's words themselve elsewhere.
