Back when I was a kid, Colonel’s in the army who saved England from ever ever being slaves were awarded the Order Of The British Empire. Apparently the cache is so low today that drug addicted tax exiles are now given the same award.
Look: CSN&Y were OK nothing great, the Hollies (on the other hand) were great. That has everything to do with vastly preferring “On A Carousal” to (gag me now) “Teach Your Children” -one an aural equivalent to its title, the other bathetic brainless bullshit advise.
Anyway, Nash was awarded the OBE on Wednesday. He said: “My Queen gave me an honour. It is a stunning experience.”
