Governor’s Ball? Yes, I bought a three day ticket and yes I plan to use a lot of it except on Saturday when I am blowing off Guns N Roses to hightail to Barclay Center, figure 6pm, to catch McCarney. With that in mind first my long weekend of music and then all the choices you could possibly want.
Get there for 3pm on Friday, and start the day with a tough choice: Dinosaur Jr or Holy Ghost. I will probably go with Dinosaur Jr, 345p Best Coast (FINALLY, after missing them for years), 645p Feist, 8pm Erykah Badu and 930pm Kings Of Leon.
There is a real tough choice Saturday night: Dirty Projectors or Fucked Up at 345. Before than if I arrive by 130p I’ll catch Wild Nothing, but I will definitely see Japandriods at 3p, Alt J play at 445p, then I’ll make my way To McCartney in Brooklyn.
Is the weekend over already? If I make it there on time? 130p The Vaccines, 215p the great rapper Freddie Gibbs, 3pm Cold war Kids, 445p Gary Clark Jn, 545 Beirut and 930p Kanye West. As for the xx,grizly Bear and a few others: I’ve seen em before and I am not all that bothered.
