Google went around cities with vans so they could pick up data from twifi’s as to what sites you visited.
This is an unconsciounable breach of trust and if you have faith these spies destroyed the info the illegally procured you probably also believe a company with the cavalier insolence to say “if you don’t want people to know what sites you go on you probably shouldn’t be going on them” before they claim to detroy the info after six months.
Sure, that’s what they do.
I firmly believe, and the terrible results of spyingon us at Time Square backs me up, nobody has the slightest idea what to do or how to use all these invasions of privacy. But it still doesn’t make it right, it just makes it repulsive and stupid.
Google don’t know what to do with data. But pretty soon they will figure it out and there goes the neighborhood. Into S&M? Google can tell a prospective employer. Want a new job? Cheating on your husband? Sympathize with the white supremists? Like little girls? Giving your money to charity?
Your life is a load of “1” and “0” and even that isn’t enough info for the info hoarding monolith. They also have the audacity to spy on you.
