Glam Friday Goes Live

Hair/Glam is coming to the NY area this summer.  Two great tours, four great bands.  Don’t miss these.

Def Leppard and Heart – July 12 – Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre

Motley Crue and Poison – July 20 Nassau Coliseum

I will be at both shows.

I witnessed all 4 of these bands live before.  Believe it not, the one band I really want to see is Heart.  They opened for Journey a couple of years ago, and they nailed it!  The Wilson sisters are still kick ass.

Def Leppard along with Poison always put on a great show.  Playing basically nothing but all their hits.  They usually have their typical cookie-cutter set list, but who cares.  They are both fun bands to watch and sing along with.

As for Motley, I don’t know what to expect from them.  The last two times I saw them, Vince Neil was off key.  I hope is voice holds up on this tour.  If it does, then the Crue will put on their extremely kick ass show.  Also, let’s hope that guitarist Mick Mars is well and can make it through this extensive tour.

For the Motley/Poison tour it is a celebration of both bands – 30th Anniversary for the Crue, 25th for Poison.  WOW, where has the time gone.

See you on the road, and in the parking lot (tailgating).
