Glam Friday: Badlands "Dreams In The Dark"

It’s that time of the week again.

Get your hair metal juices flowing.

This week’s song is from Badlands.  The song is “Dreams In The Dark”

Badlands was a blue-based super group (of sort) that was formed in the 80s.  They had one or two well known songs by the hard rock/heavy metal fans, but they made little impact to the general public.

 The band consisted of

Ray Gillen – Vocals
Jake E. Lee – Guitar

Eric Singer – Drums
Greg Chaisson – Bass

Unfortunately, the band ultimately disbanded after the untimely death of lead singer Ray Gillen.  Jake E Lee continues to make music today in various bands, and also recording solo.  Lee also played in Ozzy’s band.  Eric Singer is now the drummer in KISS.

I used to love this band.  I had their self-titled debut album on cassette tape.  When it was time (years later) to try to get this on CD I found that it is out of print.  Just did a quick search for it on Amazon, and you can buy the CD for $72.74 WHAT!!!.

Well, enjoy Badlands for free on Rocknyc for FREE.  See ya next week!
