Back in 1998, Sean Lennon released the entirely credible Into the Sun – a sorta jazz folk roundelay, and 12 years later he seems to have written the follow up.
Lyrically sprite, musically delicate and with Lennon following and then leading Charlotte Kemp Muhl’s extremely fragile vocal, “Robot Boy” seems to be delicate and weary at the same time.It’s a bit like being mugged by a flower but I keep on listening if only for the love guitar part that haunts it.
