fun. "Sleigh Bells", Reviewed

Nate Ruess makes me a-ring-ting-tingle.

fun. covered "Sleigh Bells" and it's so good I could cry. I hit 'play' and was just blown away. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but whatever expectations I had, they exceeded. Ruess can literally sing anything and fun. makes this song not a lame Christmas tune, but a legit great dance song. They took a new spin on it but kept the same feel. It is absolutely beautiful. I'm so putting this on my playlists for the winter season.

They pretty much restored my faith in holiday songs; it's not overdone and it doesn't sound like they tried too hard. There are so many components of this song, and each and every one just adds so much more to it. There’s not a single thing the tune could ‘do without’. It's very complex, but not forced by any means. It is superior to any version of any wintertime song to ever exist- it’s so well done, and I’m not sure what it is. I think it’s just how every second of it is streamlined and meshes together flawlessly. It just makes you want to make a gingerbread house and dance around your tree or menorah or what have you. The electronic component of it makes it stronger than just instruments would. Nate's voice fits the song perfectly, because it's just in his strongest range. He has such a clear voice, and it's upheld by the brilliant backtrack.

Christmas music was lame, until now. It made me love fun. even more and want to go get hot cocoa with them and sing holiday diddies.
