As band, Fucked Up specialize in a variation on the Buzzcocks old trick; air tight melodies, and as a band, they always run variations on Pete's old trick: powerhouse riffs. It sounds really, really good. And it feels like a really , really big album even if the Opera part seems a little under weaned.

To David Comes To Life which has all the feel of a major rock statement. on first spin? Really good, maybe a bit too samey. Grade: B+
