The Frank Sinatra Concert Collection: Perfect For Cuddling With Helen Bach

When I’m not listening to Marilyn Manson, The Ramones, Beardcore, Gothica or The English Beat, I’m listening to crooners.

There is something about a strong old time lounge fly voice that really wows me. Love Dean Martin, loved Perry Como (and if you’ve never hear Papa Loves Mambo go find it cuz you’ll be dancing all day to it), and will always love Frank Sinatra. There is so much euphemism innuendo and suave to this genre.

Those boys are from a time when men were men. They weren’t simply fucks they were screaming, they were woo’ing and flirty and soft and trust me.. odds are pretty good their ‘dance cards’ were pretty darn full.

So isn’t it timely that right in time for fireplaces and cuddles (and MY BIRTHDAY) comes this cool find

November 2 is the release date for the 7 dvd box set Frank Sinatra: Concert Collection, which contains over 14 hours of television and concert performances from the ’50s through the ’80s, including four previously unreleased specials, a box-set exclusive compilation of vintage performances, and a 44-page book featuring rare photographs

This sucker is going to have a huge price tag. One isn’t listed yet. To see Sinatra performances from his TV shows (remember variety shows?) let alone concert footage is a Sunday snow day dream come true.

I have hunted down alot of performances and even as he ages there’s still a magic about him. That Friar Tuck look was a train wreck but again must I be so shallow?

So if each of you readers would send Iman a dollar, you can all get this for me for my birthday and I’d be really grateful.
