Remember about the Foo Fighters secret show in LA? It turned out to be at the famous Roxy, the same club where Woody’s band, Shinobi Ninja, is going to play next week.
The location was tweeted during the afternoon (twitter seems definitively to be the social network to do that last minute kind of thing) and a picture of the FF limo in front of the club was sent by the Foo Fighters account. They seem to have a lot of fun with these local shows, as another tweet with the link of a website showing a radio trumpeting about the event was also tweeted… can they still call it a ‘secret show’?
Of course, people got in line very early in the day, around 11am I have read, and the show sold out about an hour after it was tweeted. The LAWeekly is also kind of saying that there will be other of these secret shows at the Satellite and the Echoplex in the next few weeks.
