Fitz Booted -by Alyson Camus

Fitz and the Tantrums, or F.A.T.T., was a band we talked about a lot since this summer, they had their big breakthrough early this year, starting after their shows at Spaceland and especially their performance at the Hammer museum for the great ‘Also I like to Rock’ Series in July.
Since that, they have been on an up and up road, as they released a full album in August, went on tour, had a session with Daryl Hall, and headlined a sold out show at the El Rey in November.

They have 20 upcoming shows posted on their page, so everything sounds really good for them, they even have a series of shows announced for January in Las Vegas, the capital of entertainment…

Recently, I have seen them everywhere, on blogs of course but also on TV shows, on TV ads…

And I forgot, I saw them again at the Sunset Junction Fair, dancing their sweat out on a torrid summer day, and especially, I had the pleasure to interview Michael Fitzpatrick, aka Fitz, in July.

But let’s go back to what they are the best at, live performances: Kevin Bronson who runs Buzzbands.la and curated the Hammer’s series, posted a bootleg of their show at this same museum, a bootleg even remastered by sound engineer Patrick Mundy.
