Filthy, Dirty Devil Wears Prada Comic

Years ago all models wanted to be actresses. Now it seems to me all musicians want to be models, or artists, or designers, or .. well anything other than recording artists. I wonder why, I know I don’t like it.

I know that endless touring hinders recording. The bands we have spoken to pretty much all just keep a notebook handy for inspiration but really they just never stop moving long enough to throw down the tracks.

When they do then begins the laborious ‘leaks of photos (hello Panic At The Disco ya done yet? MCR hello hello?), or leaks of cover art, leaks of track listings (how damn worthless is this? Look!!! There’s gonna be a song called ‘cold lonely night’!!!!, that’s not upping my hype), then comes the song leak… oh wait then theres the presale hype (get a t-shirt!) then…..the tour… that never ended anyway but …now will include the new songs…….you heard first on line………about 5 months ago. Which is good in a way cuz you can sing along and make me nuts.

PHEW that was a long intro

The Devil Wears Prada are just plain yummy. Watching them makes me rather swoony if I do say so myself. They’re just filthy and gross and I appreciate that in a man or men….. whichever. I’ll get to the point now

“ZOMBIE, The EP Comic,” a limited-edition, traditional-sized comic book based on the fictionalized adventures of rising metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada, bundled with the band’s upcoming “Zombie EP” (Ferret), will be available at retail exclusively at all Hot Topic stores for $9.99 beginning August 24. The Zombie bundle can also be ordered on the band’s website.

So these boys can add a comic book to their career and end up at Comicon like MCR!

I’m all for diversification, trust me, this ain’t my only gig, but for the life of me I cant figure why this childlike mentality continues. Is it to savor every ounce of attention?

LOOK! I can do this too! Wanna see my pictures!

Is it management (hello spell check) is it promoters? Who is it that sits in a room with these guys going.. ‘so like hey.. got any other talents? can you like I dunno, ever make a potholder at camp?, cuz we can make that a ‘limited package’ offering”…

How about making and recording music?

OK thanks.

Heres The Devil Wears Pradas August tour dates.. if you remember I just saw them back April? March? meh.. not long enough ago to warrant a trip throught again
