Family Force 5 released a new song called "You Got It".
Woah.
They'd always been my go-to band when I was in the mood for some synth-heavy, almost rap tunes. They've changed.
It's way more laid back with a summery feel. It's a fantastic feel-good tune. The vibe is easy to sway along to. This song just makes me want to go to the beach, to be honest. The almost bohemian touches on the instruments are soothing but exciting.
It's catchy and makes me want to pick up a ukulele. I can say truthfully that there's not a single flaw in this tune. The singer's voice has matured, thats for sure. The sound is different and even though it is lacking in the techno-y department, it shows that FF5 is versatile and is chock full of talent.
Family Force 5 was getting a little bland, but they've definitely shaken it up. They've got it.
