I saw the English Beat a few months back and raved. Amazingly spectacular I still get goose bumps at how fantastic they sound even to this day.
The guys still got it, and then some.
So whats up now? How about a band who actually acknowledges times are bad?
For two venues (so far) The Beat has had reduced ticket admissions for those unemployed. A fantastic marketing angle and better yet a great thing to do. The Infinity Hall show in CT and the Highline in NYC.
Simply call the box office for details on that special pricing.
Not every band sucks. These reductions are at the bands request. I cant help but sing the praises of such a great move.
