Elvis Costello is by far one of the most charismatic artists of all times. Don’t tell me he was a nerd don’t tell me hes old fat and bald, I cant hear you and I ain’t listening.
I have followed this gentleman (literally check the policed log) for so many years I have watched him evolve. It hasn’t always been a positive evolution but its never been dull. ‘Cept that whole gag worthy Emmy Lou Harris thing (Nessing was there I think!) where I wore my earphones and listened to Get Happy and stared at him.
yeah.. I should be arrested.
But there is a vulnerability in his voice a presence of sheer rock and roll that never has faded.
I dont care about his social station, I dont care about his 70’s faux pas, I dont care at all
Im just really happy he was born, really really happy he became a musician, and really really really happy to have seen him live numerous times and to hear him daily recorded.
