3) They have a higer population of homosexuals than other institutions.
The why speaks for itself.
That Islamic countries have been embarassing themselves by banning Elton John is another matter question entirely. Last week it was Egypt, this week it is Morocco.
Really, if Morocco can’t withstand a concert by Elton John without gay rapists looting the streets of Rabat they should take up the Talmud and acquiese to the Jewish streets requests for a Greater Israel.
John was invited to play at a festival and still is as we speak but according to the Associated Press a fight has broken out between the Mawazine Festival and the Justice and Development Party (JDP).
A spokesperson for the JDP told AP: “We’re a rather open party, but promoting homosexuality is completely unacceptable… (John would) encourage the phenomenon” and be a bad influence for Morocco’s youth.”
So far, unlike the Egyptian goverment who cancelled Elton’s performance due to his pro-gay remarks (if they got started on John’s pro-gay actions we’d be here all year).
Really, these goverments should find better things to worry about than John’s sexual preference. I am Arabic and they don’t speak for me.
