We received this email for the Art Therapy Credentials Board;
“Thank you for e-mailing the Art Therapy Credentials Board with your question about training for art therapists. The ATCB does not mandate first aid training for art therapists. This requirement would be handled within the agencies employing the art therapists.”
What does this mean?
It means that unless Chiba worked with children or unless it was required by the agency she worked with (we don’t know who she worked for or if she worked with children), Chiba might not have known first aid and therefore would not be guilty of Criminal negligent Homicide.
