As this pix off Perez Hilton's website attests, Taylor Swift and UK sensation Ed Sheeran are collaborating on some songs for Taylor's breathtakingly awaited new album currently being recorded.
rock nyc has been covering Sheeran for awhile now and while his first album + is still not released here, it is dropping in June. And it has reached the attention of one of our greatest songwriters, Taylor Swift.
As reported in contactmusic.com "'Ed and Taylor have been in the studio in LA a lot over the past few weeks working on new material. 'She's into her British music and became a massive fan of Ed before asking to work with him recently. There is a mutual affection between the pair 'It's still to be officially decided how the material will be released but just a single credit on her album will be worth big money.'Taylor's country sound is massive around the world.''
Taylor wrote all of Speak Now by herself, so quite why she is using any other writers is a mystery. But Ed must be happy, just a credit on one song on the album could be worth half a million bucks to him.
