Ours frontman Jimmy Gnecco is one name in the mix, Slipknots Corey Taylor, Myles Kennedy, Royston Langdon and Donovan Leitch (the son, the son!) are among the names being mentioned though none of them hit me as a a great fit.
So who would be a great fit?
1. Bono – we start by getting him out of U2 and then we bury him in VR
2. Michael Jackson -a little far fetched I admit but IF he comes back from the dead and IF he is as pissed at his family as I would be, this would be a fascinating way to reclaim his career.
3. Tom Jones and Bruce Springsteen -they can share the mic.
4. Barack Obama – I mean, if they don't reelected him.
5. Beyonces daughter in waiting – Hey, it took decades for a GNR album to emerge… who knows?
6. Patrick Stickles – It wouldn't be selling out, it would be be buying in.
7. Marissa Pastermayer – She is a better singer than any of the above.
8. Miley Cyrus – Hey, she needs to resuurect her career and she has already sung with one metal icon.
9. Cris Kirkwood – maybe Curt can join as well
10. Jay-Z and Kanye West – They can share a new throne…
