The Drums are not the next big thing.
They may be the next mid sized thing, like a Toyota Camry or something but they are not nor will they be ‘huge’.
They will have a loyal base of fans that will allow them to keep music as their career instead of teaching bass at a local school or working in a record shop.
They will not get rich.
They may date famous movie stars but they will be fleeting romances with little tabloid coverage.
They will remain in neutral steady, never rocketing nor faltering.
Like a comfortable shoe, they will get out often but without much fanfare.
I like the vocal rip offs of Adam Ant and Peter Murphy its cute.. its bland.
The song “Submarine’ was OK.. nothing wrong with it but nothing to WOOT over. Its like I’d heard it before but I haven’t.
