Do A Little Dance, Make A Little Love: The Ultimate '70s Playlist!

The 1970s: when disco ruled the world

If you have ever wanted to make the “Ultimate ‘70s Playlist” on your computer, iPod, or left arm, the fine folks at rock nyc have done all the heavy lifting for you. We’ve listed the best of the ‘70s from pop, rock, soul, disco, country, funk, punk, and combo platters like P-Funk. There are a few warhorses such as “Free Bird” and “Stairway to Heaven” that we don’t listen to often, but felt obligated to include. We felt no such obligation toward “Hotel California” or “Bridge Over Troubled Waters.” There are no free rides in the editorial judgment fast lane.

Crank this list up to 11. The mountain is high, the valley is low.
