Having heard two songs off the new Michael album, my conclusion is
1. One song sucks
2. One song doesn’t.
But I can’t go along with Will I Am’s (who recorded with MJ) complaint that releasing unfinished tracks is disrespectful. Indeed, I think MJ’s estate has been enormously careful in retaining the integrity of the product.
Akon, who is on the song that sucks, says this: “I don’t see anything disrespectful about it… these albums would have come out if (Jackson) was alive or dead so I think this helps to keep his legacy alive.”
