The Devil Wears Prada never ceases to amaze me.
They released a new song called "Born To Lose" and I was addicted about 10 seconds in.
Each time TDWP releases something new, it's fresh and interesting and keeps you guessing their next move. The screams are perfect, the singing's gorgeous, and the intricately woven instruments provide not only just a backing to the vocals but compliment them in such a way that it's almost godly. It's ineffably wonderful.
TDWP pretty much has the best breakdowns ever, especially in this song. Their sound is so unique, which is nice in a genre that can get so mixed up and have everybody sound the same. However, Devil Wears Prada has managed to keep themselves separated from the rest by some power that a bunch of bands need to tap into. They're still definitely considered 'hardcore', but they don't sound like any other hardcore band out there. They're distinct, and have remained that since the beginning.
I was blown away by "Born To Lose", it's probably my new favourite TDWP song.
The Devil Wears Prada was born to play music, and they're great at it.
