Yes we got it!
Everybody thought the Apollo gig was gonna be big but we didn’t realize it was gonna be greatest gig of all time type (my review here), if you weren’t there lie about it type, thriller of the year, show to beat of the year, see it and weep type great.We didn’t realize somehow, somewhere, d’Angelo got everything he had lost back.
He had, he did, and already it is the best show since Aretha Franklin at Radio City Music Hall the day after Whitney Houston died. So when, hanging out backstage, after the show, I was told there was a March 11th gig (I didn’t know where), there was no second guessing. One Mo’ Gin for sure and if he swings by a third time I plan to catch that as well.
So I got my ticket yesterday for the Best Buy Theatre on West 44th gig on AMEX presale but what about folks without an AMEX card? Well, there is an AXS presale code and again rock nyc is proud to provide it. The tickets go on sale today (Thursday February 12th) at 10am. Good luck, it will be worth the hassle.
