I am gagging for the release of Massive Attacks first album in six years Heligoland so am happy to post my second non story of the day wherein the band tell NME, who recorded two tracks off the album, was a stern taskmaster. So here’s the quote: “He [Albarn] was like, ‘I want to work with you, but I’m not getting sucked into some nine-year-long Bristol dope-haze. Albarn said ‘We’ll work 10 to six, at my studio, for five days and that’ll be it’. The irony was that it was him who ended up instigating all the bad behaviour!”
Me? I’m gonna listen to Danny The Dog again…
