At the VMA's, Cobra Starship performed their song "You Make Me Feel". At first I expected it to be lip-synced, but to my surprise it wasn't.
The performance was really impressive. Both Gabe and Sabi had a lot of energy, and looked like they were having fun. Gabe's voice was spot-on and that was incredible. I expected it to not be that great, but it was a thousand times better than I expected. He has so much talent and that really shined through during this performance.
However, I do not like Sabi's voice live. She was really really flat and annoying. It's obvious that she's all editing, and that disappointed me. It definitely downgraded the performance. Luckily Cobra Starship is still fantastic live, and Sabi was good for that one song- recorded.
It's pretty awesome that Cobra Starship got to perform at this huge event. Maybe just Sabi should've lip-synced though.
