Chipmunk Rules The UK Singles Charts
UK rapper Chipmunk is a former member of the grime posse Circular Movements and now sole owner of the number one spot in the UK singles charts with “Oopsie Daisy”. The rap is a little lame but the song has an addictive chorus and is yet another nursery rhyme for adults (though not quite up to the “1,2,3” Kid Cudi stuff!!). The rest of the charts is either hip hop or dance from here. Both of Jay-Z’s singles are there, David Gueta’s “Sexy Chick”, Black Eyed Peas, the new Shakira which I heard mid-summer and found very disappointing but I could be wrong, you know. Plus a coupla names that must be local bc I haven’t heard of em. Here you go:
