When Craig Owens left Chiodos I pretty much figured that would be the end of the bands affiliation with Peta.
Today I find out I’m wrong and I’m glad.
The new and in my opinion improved Chiodos has thrown their mugs on a really nice looking anti fur PSA.
As you may know, its pretty hip to be vegetarian theses days. Not quite as trendy as being a lesbian but pretty much 60% of teenagers (mostly female) have exclaimed they have ‘gone vegetarian’, for at least a day. Its not easy. But every bit helps.
I doubt the boys above are veg in any way but by standing up for one aspect of cruelty I’m hopeful their followers will explore the entire movement.
The band has begun a contest on the peta2 site.
I wont tell you about it though, go look and learn.
