This woman has seem more weirdness and had the most bizarre press of anyone. Some reports had her as Sonny Bonos sex slave, some of them had her as a vixen, whatever, none of it matters.
Cher is an actress, a singer, a performer, and artist, a clothes horse, and well lets not forget the Bagel Boy.
There is something fascinating to me about the gilded performers. Those old school Vegas strip types. Head to toe in lame’ (that’s a fabric not to be confused with Lame, which it also is) the sheer magnitude of stage presence.
Lets face it, I’m no Cher fan. I’m no Liberace fan either but the mystique of these 2 just mesmerizes me.
I think its the stereotypical double knit wearing sensible shoe crowd that shuffles in to see them after dinner at the buffet and some time at the penny slots. Its surreal, and disturbing actually.
Yet in ‘the day’, Cher kicked ass Bob Mackie dressed her she was beautiful and spunky .. her public image was that of sass..hey wait now she sounds like me.
